Mini Siam in Pattaya, or Around the World in 2 Hours!

Mini Siam Thailand

If someone told you that you could travel around the world even faster than in 80 days, you would surely laugh in their face. But don’t be hasty—if you don’t take that statement literally, it’s the plain truth. Let’s head to Thailand – specifically to Mini Siam in Pattaya – and see for ourselves.

General Information

So, what exactly is Siam Park Pattaya (Mini Siam Park Pattaya)? It is a compact park featuring scaled‐down replicas of nearly all the world’s famous landmarks. These replicas are not just isolated exhibits on pedestals; they form an integrated ensemble, complete with contextual surroundings. Let us explain:

Overall view

Each exhibit has its own designated space, where even the surrounding setting is recreated (and the Leaning Tower of Pisa is tilted in the same direction).

The park is located in the central part of the city, making it quite convenient to reach on your own.

The park is divided into two sections:

  1. Mini Europe.
  2. Mini Siam.

The first section, known as Mini Europe, features the most popular global landmarks – predominantly from Europe, with a few notable exceptions.

A Moment in History

Siam Park Pattaya, as shown in the photos below, dates back to 1986, and its origins are rather straightforward without any urban legends. As part of a cultural development initiative, the government decided to introduce its citizens to world heritage by commissioning this project. Construction took several months, with renowned artisans working on the sculptures. Experts from around the globe were consulted, which is likely why the figures turned out so detailed and accurate.

Since then, the park has remained open, and even though the entrance fee is not exactly modest compared to some traditional Thai tours, the flow of tourists never ceases.

Mini Europe

“Seeing Paris and dying” — this sounds like a well-known, somewhat clichéd phrase. But why go to Paris to die? Come to Thailand; we assure you, you’ll witness the miniature Eiffel Tower – and live to share the story. Moreover, you’ll gain energy and positivity.

Mini Europe features masterpieces of global architecture from all corners of the world, including:

  1. Western Europe.
  2. Russia.
  3. Australia.
  4. USA.
  5. South America.
  6. China.
  7. Africa.

The most memorable sculptures:

  • Eiffel Tower;
  • Arc de Triomphe;
  • Sydney Opera House;
  • Trevi Fountain;
  • Leaning Tower of Pisa;
  • Roman Colosseum;
  • Moscow Pokrovsky Cathedral;
  • Temple of Heaven;
  • Statue of Liberty;
  • Volgograd’s Unknown Soldier Statue;
  • Valley of the Pharaohs;
  • Tower Bridge.

And this is by no means the complete list of sculptures featured in the Mini Europe section. There are around a hundred attractions in total.

Mini Siam

The park truly comes alive with its Mini Siam section, which introduces you to Thailand’s rich cultural heritage. Highlights include:

  • Ayutthaya Golden Mountain;
  • Phimai Stone Castle;
  • Bangkok Victory Monument;
  • Buddha King Statue from Bangkok;
  • Temple of the Emerald Buddha from Bangkok.

And much more. The charm lies in the fact that each monument has its own descriptive plaque, and before booking any tours, we recommend stopping by Siam Park to clarify which attractions you definitely want to visit and which ones you might not be interested in…

Take a Stroll…

If you love photography, be sure to stop by—this is a photographer’s paradise; hundreds of reviews can’t be wrong, can they? The well-maintained grounds may seem small at first glance, but once you immerse yourself, you’ll realize that an hour is simply not enough. You’ll need at least 2–3 hours to see everything.

Darkness is Not Just for the Youth…

It is worth noting that locals—and not only them—love to visit Siam Park in the evenings. Why? It’s simple: as twilight deepens and night falls, the park transforms. Hundreds of lights illuminate the paths and even within the sculptures. For nightscape enthusiasts, there is even a dedicated viewing area, easily identifiable with its rows of chairs and benches.
