If you're looking for a safe, quiet, and clean beach with calm water and less people, then this is the beach for you! No annoying jet ski or parasailing activities — pure bliss! Take note that the beach comprises of two stretches — a short one where The Cove and Panwaburi are situated and a longer one where Flamingo is. It is possible to cross from one side to the other by walking across the rocks and the best side is undoubtedly the longer one! Also recommended: Sunset view at the nearby Chana Beach

Underrated. The beach itself is a long stretch and the spot with the "Ao Yon Beach" sign is usually crowded and not that great. I highly recommend to a spot near the convenience store (forgot what's it called), which is about a 7-10 minute walk! The waters are pretty clean, and so are the sand. Great place to chill and watch the sunset. Swimming here is pretty safe too.

Beautiful beach, quite clean. Unfortunately, the sea is quite dead too. For those hoping to see Andaman fish species, if not corals, one will be disappointed. The sea waves are gentle even during high tide, so paddle boating and kayaking image not dangerous, good for swimming as the seabed is quite devoid of rocks and/or coral rubble. Very suitable for young children.

Beautiful beach. Unspoilt and quiet. There are a few cafés and restaurants along the beach and the road behind. A few cafés rent out chairs and sunbeds. Make a visit to the Ung Pearl Farm and Shop, free demonstration of how pearls are farmed right in the bay. The beach is best enjoyed at low tide. You can walk around the rocks at the south end to the other little beach. The high tide comes right up leaving not much room for walking / sitting.

Kind of hidden gem. There's some sort of parking lot and separate path for pedestrians as well. The beach is beautiful, definitely worth coming. Water are crystal clear and the view is amazing. One of the best beaches in pukhet.

Fantastic beach! There are two access paths, some 50m apart, starting from the main road. Both have a clear sign where to walk down to the beach and are easy to walk down or up (we were with a 7years old child). There is a lot of natural shade, and two bars, which serve food, drinks and ice cream. We went to the Papa one, and it was okish for the food and the prices. The only unfortunate thing is that there some construction works have started right behind the beach, which in addition to the noise, appear to be changing the scenery. If it is for a parking, the place will get overcrowded soon, and if its for a resort, it will be forever lost to only those who could aford to stay in luxury hotels.

This hidden gem location is unfortunately not so hidden anymore. Over the years, more and more people have made the journey to this paradise setting. It is a truly amazing spot and one of the prettiest beaches on the island. The beach shake restaurant food is among our favourites that I'm guarantee no one will be disappointed with the taste or the price

My favorite beach in Phuket!!!! The way to drive here is very chill. Easy to trek down. Wide shade from big tree that you can chill out whole day. Nice beach, clean and beautiful sand. The restaurant nearby serves food and drink and even mats to chill. I ordered pad thai there and it is amazing. Love to go back there one day if I have a chance

Nice quite beach difficult to get to as it is a climb down off the side of the road. Clean beach and clear waters to swim in, unlike the other popularone where someone is always going to bump into you. Although please pick up food and drink before you arrive as there is only one makeshift restaurant that has extortionate prices.

I only spent a short time here for seeing the sunset. I recommend you to spend time for activities here. The beach is really large and nice view of the sunset. I saw that it was not crowded. It is not just only the beach the hotel and resort around here are so interesting with high personal privacy and relaxing environment. Anyway, I just review from what I saw with direct experience in their service. Please try to visit here and give me a feedback for my review is valuable or less valuable.

The area is very good, quiet, not cheap, but the beach is one of the worst. Sand in small branches from trees and the water is not as clear as other beaches in Phuket 😒 We go to Surin - 10 minutes, the beach is much better.

A long, clean, and easily accessible sandy beach that offers something for everyone. We negotiated a great price for jet skiing—1500 baht for 30 minutes—and there are plenty of other water activities to choose from. The water is clean and shallow, with no underwater currents that we noticed. On the northern side, there’s even a national park to explore. Overall, we absolutely loved it!

Beautiful beach, but far from clear or any shade of blue water. It's a long beach so there's plenty of room. Small businesses such as massage parlors right on the beach. There is a place to rent chairs. Plenty of restaurants there as well. While it's not the clearest water, it's swimmable and there is a great view.

Kamala Beach, right in front of the InterContinental Phuket Resort, is a stunning spot with soft sandy shores and a clean, serene environment. At the far right end of the beach, you'll find big, beautiful rocks on the shore, adding a touch of natural beauty to the scenery. The crowd here is nice, offering a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. However, a word of caution: be careful with jet ski rentals. We had an issue when our jet ski flipped, and although the sign stated that insurance was included, we were still asked to cover repair costs. This was unexpected and could have been better managed. Overall, Kamala Beach is a lovely place to relax, stroll, or take in the stunning views—just keep the jet ski rentals in mind.

We are FT Traveling seniors w/o a vehicle seeking sunshine, warm weather, nice beaches, safe and walkable areas. Have an open mind, don’t mind mosquitoes, lack of infrastructure, noisy motor bikes, weed and young travelers everywhere. No TP and crosswalks and brown tap water. We were here a month in December - little too long for me.

Clean , long beach with picture perfect views of sand n sea. Silent and peaceful beach. Perfect for long walks and plenty of juice bars and cafes running along on the side walk. Morning time is perfect for this one.

We are staying near Kata Beach and have had trips to Patong Beach, but we much much prefer walk to Karon Beach instead! The sunsets are amazing and there is a lot more room across the wide stretched beach to explore, sit on the sand, swim or shop. On Kata Beach with the limited entry points, there are crowds of people and chairs all together and no space for newcomers. Karon Beach is the one I’ll be recommending!

A nice beach to take a swim and do activities! I tried to negotiate the price for this 5 min activity and they accepted as long as you ask nicely. I did enjoy my time here, the strip was long and there’s so much place to stay at. Paying for the sun-bed is optional, however, I like it for comfort.

It's a very busy beach, but you can always find a quiet spot. We preferred the north of the beach up by the rocks during the day and early evenings, as it was more peaceful and the water calmer. This beach has something for everyone. In the evening we loved the Ska Bar at the south end on the rocks.

The water is so crystal clear you can see your feet when into the sea 2 meters deep. I loved it and to me it was the most beautiful and convenient beach in the island of Phuket. Food at the beach is really affordable from 80 baht fried rice and pork/chicken

Kata Noi Beach in Phuket was an absolute gem and quickly became my favorite beach on the island. The convenience of accessing it directly from the mainland, without needing a boat, made it all the better. The white sand was soft and pristine, and the crystal-clear water was indescribably beautiful, perfect for a relaxing swim. The calm, serene atmosphere really allowed me to unwind and take in the natural beauty. It’s less crowded than other beaches, so it feels like a peaceful escape. Definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for a slice of paradise in Phuket!

It’s an okay beach, some places are under construction when I went in August. What made my time here memorable was the locals, it rained heavy but they made sure I was well sheltered on their little hut. I would go back to this beach to say hi to them!

Golden beach, blue and clean water. Maybe not what I expected from a Thai beach (dreamlike landscapes, etc) but it was worth relaxing here, undoubtedly!

This is a very nice and quiet beach with just a couple of sunbeds for rent, other than that it is not organized with anything. You can get there in 3 ways, either by boat from Suring beach, or through the jungle or the best way is to walk/hike for a few minutes from Surin beach following a path that indicates it goes to this beach (I managed the hike in flip flops). It is a pleasure to spend your day there if you ignore the trash left behind by others by the edge of the jungle along the beach. The sunset from this beach is very beautiful and you have a chance also during the day to play with the crabs on the the beach and maybe also to meet a monkey or two (I did not have this chance). You can go into the water without water shoes easily in the first half of the beach.

Very beautiful beach. Worth to go from Surin, but the road a bit dangerous in one place. It’s not about no people, but in December it was ok. Clear water, shadow from palms. Back we took a boat to Kamala for 200 b/person.

Been to Nai Harn, Kata Noi, Kata, Karon and Surin beaches and this one (Haad Laem Sing) was our favourite. Highly recommend visiting (when we went around 11am on a weekday there were very few tourists and only some rubbish towards the back by the tree line). But the water and the views surrounding you while you’re there are unmatched

Wonderful beach! This is the best one until now! Clear water, beautiful view! We took the path from the south of surin beach...15 minutes by walking. It's not a difficult path if you are in good health and it is really worth the view! We personally decided to put on shoes for walking. A lot of people went by flip flop or also barefoot but for me...life is a gift...why take a risk if it's not necessary? Near the beach there is a restaurant....the food is really good and the people that work there are really nice! Today there was an old lady preparing juices and smoothies...she was so cute! And her mango juice was the best I had on this holiday! There are umbrellas and beach loungers...100bath for loungers. Things I didn't like: 1) today some guys arrived and put on loud music all day....if you want to listen to music take your earbuds with you 2) some guys used and destroyed an umbrella and they didn't pay anything for the damage 3) tourists drinking and leaving their garbage there The problem obviously is not the beach...it is the human being....do a favour to everyone...if you go somewhere to have a holiday, learn how to behave beforehand.

Start from Tukta food&drink on left hand side of Surin beach. If you like a little bit walking, you must explore this spot. The trail is on the rock all way long. I think it is not dengourus. You can bring kids. I suggest you check in on day time at sunny day. There is still nurture and forrest cover at the beach. There are only few people visiting and no shop. You can do sunbathing if you want. Just taking care of yourself.

Absolutely fantastic beach. Perfect mix of sand, a bit of surf, and at the back of the beach trees and a promenade with shops, stalls, and restaurants. Also really great for a walk around sun set.

Amazing beach. Of you arrive at Phuket airport and planning to sleep off travel like we did, cone to this beach. Only takes about 20 minutes, but that's how you should start your Thai travel. Long beach, on the left-hand side, u can find some Instagram spots and pretty cool waves. Some beach restaurants on that side and plenty of shadow from palms. The whole street is full of different restaurants if you wand to hide from the midday blast , as well as plenty of shadow spots under trees on the right. I have seen reviews and photos of this place, but it can't justify the beaty of it. Don't miss it

Love this place . Long beach in front of many local shops and stalls selling tropical fruit of all kind and thai food. You can enjoy a very colourful walk and relax on of the free hammoks you find!

Nice maintained beach. Great spot every local seems to go to each day. Convenient food drinks and massage. The only thing that's not cool is the lake/ sower water drains into the ocean on the left side of the beach. Just don't swim over there when it's open. Or ever haha. Sunset are of course beautiful and Sunday night people gather for some music. Definitely enjoy time there while you can

Nai Harn Beach Review Nai Harn Beach is a sandy beach where you can swim. Tourists like to come here to sunbathe in the afternoon. There are also many tourists who come here to visit. In the evening, there is a beautiful sunset view with the sky and the sea hitting the setting sun. The view is very beautiful.

The tide pool to the left is quiet and there were fish swimming close to my legs. To the right end of the beach where the life guards are is a good area to catch some waves. Had coconut for 60Bahts.

I think this is my favorite beach in Phuket. It is not as busy and commercialised like Kata. The water is great to swim in, current is not too strong and the seabed is nice and soft. The sunset there was beautiful. Remember to go early if you want sunbeds cause they get occupied very fast.

Slightly too busy and overcrowded for me personally. There are sun beds and umbrellas for rent for 200baht for a set (2+1) Food and drink nearby. The sea is not as calm as at Yanui beach.

Mediocre tiny overcrowded, loud Beach, it's a scam because at the entrance they search your luggage and take away your water. You have to pay 200 Baht entrance fee and nothing is included - no sun beds, no pool, no drinks. Everything is overpriced. Total robbery. Plus: Life dangerous Jet Ski drivers, loud and driving near swimmers and children - almost killing them. Snorkeling not possible due to turbid water. Jellyfish everywhere. Avoid the visit to Paradise Beach by all means!

We had a great time at the beach and spent a good amount of money on food, drinks, and other things. But when we got back to the parking lot, we were surprised to find out that our car battery had died. The parking staff had jumper cables, but they refused to help us unless we paid 500 baht. It’s a shame there weren’t decent people around to assist. Charging 500 baht for something like that is just inhumane. Very upsetting..

The beach is in the middle of nowhere and we had to take a taxi. There is also and entrance fee and they check your bags for food,drinks and more. The view was ok but there was an unfinished pool in the middle of the beach. The service was alright,nothing special, and the water was full of algae and not good for swimming.

RIP OFF!!!! 200 bath for the entry fee and they take your water bottle. Wtf. You are not allowed to take your water with you. Such a scam beach. They calm it “Paradise beach” but it was the most unclean beach I’ve ever seen in Thailand. A good advice, don’t go there. It’s not worth the money!

Came for the Full Moon Party. The croud wasn't large and the music wasn't well mixed. A fair proportion of the crowd was made up of 'working girls' or people who appeared to be rent-a-crowd. It was a bit dead.and even the working girls went home early. All of that was forgivable, but the bus ride (included in our ticket price) back to Bangala Road wasn't. Bus driver got to the outskirts of patong, pulled over and walked away leaving a full bus of people wondering how to get back to Bangala Road. When we did track down the bus driver, he told us he wasn't paid to take us back to Bangala road and refused to take us. Whole bus of very angry people.

A highly commercialized beach with a large crowd and an overwhelming number of yachts and speed boats. The best part, however, is that you can spend the night here, and everyone just does their own thing.

Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas anchors near this beach and uses tender boats to take guests to the shore. The beach is well kept, with nice blue water and lots of water sports opportunities available nearby. There are a lot of sea food restaurant and pubs nearby, I guess the night life will be very vibrant there which starts at around 9-10pm (I had left on the ship at 7pm)

Beautiful beach , not the cleanest though , but you still can have a chair and sit by the beach at night til early morning , great vibes and you won’t struggle to find sellers around if you wanted a drink or something to eat.

My visit to this beach was extremely disappointing. The first thing I noticed was the overwhelming crowd, making it difficult to find a quiet spot to enjoy the sea. Unfortunately, there weren't enough chairs available, and even a simple plastic chair cost 100 baht, which is overpriced. Additionally, there were no refreshment stalls nearby, which made it even harder to enjoy the time there. The most annoying part was the large number of dogs running around and jumping, almost outnumbering the people! Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend visiting this beach at all.

Visited August 2023. It's a pretty beach in a very touristy area. We only walked through and decided not to stay because there were a lot of solicitors and people. We are used to crowded beaches, but weren't fans that this beach was right next to a lot of bars and other nightlife spots. If you're looking for somewhere quieter or more family friendly there are other beaches in the area to try.

Rawai Beach is an amazing place to visit! The bridge offers stunning views and a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the cool breeze. A beautiful and peaceful location for anyone looking to experience nature at its best. Highly recommended!

Rawai Beach is not suitable for swimming. At low tide the sea becomes shallow and the entrance to the water is strewn with stones. Swimming is hampered by boats moored near the shore. It is better to come to Rawai for lunch or dinner; there is a seafood market near the pier. Restaurants, cafes, shops and massage parlors line the embankment.

Rawai Beach isn’t the most entertaining spot in Phuket. Aside from a seafood market, there’s really not much to see or do. The coastline is too short for swimming, and there are no other activities available. The beaches on the west side, like the Big Three (Patong, Kata, and Karon), are much better in comparison.

Walking on this bridge in the evening is a good idea, especially after you early finished your dinner. I saw fishing, and local people walked around here.

An amazing place to relax and chill on the beach. Everything you need is there from lounge chairs, to shade, to food, to beers, and souvenirs. It is also quite affordable and definitely worth spending the entire day there. The sunsets can also get quite amazing.

This is one of my favourite beaches and also one of the best beaches in Phuket, clean beach with clear water during dry and semi wet seasons. There’s no dirty river or sewer flowing into the sea. Many sun loungers for rent, bargain for ฿100 per person for half a day use. Many street vendors selling food, cocktails and beer. Public toilet is under renovation as of Nov 2024. Can be busy but able to find a spot to relax especially under the trees. The waves are milder in the morning and in the evening just before sunset. Stronger waves in the afternoon.

Lovely quiet beach with umbrellas and sun beds for rent, I paid 100baht when I went close to 5pm. Many families around and lifeguard on duty. There are vendors selling food and drinks too

Nice beach, lovely food and quite a bit cheaper than other more popular beaches. Just for info bigger waves than Patong beach which makes it more fun.

Beautiful beach! There was an entrance fee, however, we were later told that if you continue walking straight after the paid entrance, you will find a path that leads to the beach for free. You can also pay for a vehicle to take you down or up the hill that leads to the beach for 300 baht per person. It is quite steep but definitely manageable. We also took a boat from Freedom beach to take us to another beach closer to our hotel to skip having to climb up the hill.

The beach is amazing, but very dirty because of tourists. It has nothing to do with the photographer or anything else. This spot is just an advertisement. To get to the beach - you will need to do quite a hike. Down and up. Over the jungle with some spiders 😉

Beautiful beach, worth visiting, be aware it will be a lot busier than you think considering it’s a secluded beach. Be aware, local taxis won’t take you to the free entrance. That being said, it’s a very small amount to pay (100 TB) to enter beach trail. It’s fairly steep, only takes 5 mins to get to the bottom, not difficult. Any mobility issues I would avoid.

I love this beach, but every year it gets worse. It was more natural even in 2020. Now they do everything for tourists and it looks deplorable and sad. The sea 10/10. This is the only reason why I come there every time. The water color is amazing. I love Thai people, but the people who work there are obsessed with money. I had an unpleasant situation today.
