Excavations have only been going on for a few years and archaeologists at the site are still working daily to uncover more. Our guide who explained the ruins was great. Fairly small site at the moment, but well worth the visit. The views are fantastic. Food and drink on sale but toilets are a basic portakabin with a hole in the ground.

Although a really beautiful area, I question its historical value - the entire area is being very heavily rebuilt and it is not even clear what part of these structures is original. Seeing workers to rebuilt the walls and “Hadrian Gate” was shocking. Price for tickets is way more for foreigners than for Turkish people, 10€ per person might not be worth to visit this “newly built from old stone” aka “ancient city”.
Adjacent beech is spectacular, clear water and facilities (shower, bathrooms, changing rooms).

It's worth a visit for lovers of ruins. Restorations and excavations every day, can be dusty. Also on the territory, a very large bay for swimming. There are both sand and pebbles. Entrance cost about 10 euros, and only in lira! At weekends, there are a lot of locals and parking is difficult.

Entrance to the area is 10 euros. Very expensive for the ancient city and using a beach that should be free. The beach is so peaceful and picturesque. Quite stoney though. The old ancient city is okay, not anything too special. There is only one board explaining the history. There is a cafe but we didnt get anything so can't comment. We drove there so parking very close to the ruins. If you are taking the bus then the walk down is quite a bit especially in the heat. You can spend a morning or afternoon at the neacb. It's quite pebbly though. Very peaceful and quiet. The toilets are awful and girls you will have to sqat down to use them.

Phaselis is a decent example of some ancient ruins from the Greek-Roman period. Although I'm aware there are others that lie in ancient Lycia.
We went as part of a guided excursion but I would argue that the €10 entrance fee might be a little overpriced based on the fact there's very little in terms of information/signage provided. (We benefited from a very knowledgeable tour guide).
If you can go as part of a tour, do it. If you plan on going without a guide, make sure to read up about the area beforehand so it makes sense.
There also appears to be a lot of conversation/archaeological works but very little information about what works they are carrying out.

How did the world create such a beautiful scene as this amazing landscape? It took millions of years of natural erosion to shape these mountains into what they are today—and they are truly stunning. This is one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen.
Located not far from downtown Göreme, we highly recommend visiting this scenic spot to experience it at least once. Love Valley offers many great spots for capturing amazing photos. There’s even a camel ride service if you’re looking for a unique experience.
The charming wooden stairs, adorned with talismans of luck hanging everywhere, add to the enchanting atmosphere.
At the top of the hill, you’ll find a cute yellow van set against the backdrop of beautiful mountains and cliffs—a perfect spot for photos!

Pity there were quite a lot trash along the trails. Please bring your waste with you to protect this beautiful place.

A unique and scenic spot. The landscape is unlike anything else, offering great photo opportunities and a peaceful atmosphere. It's a perfect place for a leisurely walk or to simply take in the natural beauty. Definitely worth a visit if you're exploring the area!

ciudades subterráneas;
El Valle del Amor;
Un museo al aire libre;
iglesias antiguas.

Myra, in the port of which city, around 60 AD, St. PETER stopped on his way to Rome‼️
Among the most impressive buildings of the ancient city are two necropolises of Lycian tombs carved into the rock. Once, all the tombs on the cliff face were painted in bright colors: yellow, red and blue.
There is also a well-preserved Greco-Roman theater, which was later converted into an arena for gladiator and animal shows. It is one of the largest and most magnificent amphitheaters in Anatolia.

Beautiful place, honestly felt like I was walking around the streets in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. It's a small area and you would generally have seen everything in around 30-40mins, but it's worth it. The structures built into the mountain are absolutely gorgeous!
Honestly, this place made me want to visit Greece 😂

Nestled in the heart of Turkey’s stunning Lycian region, Myra Ancient City is a mesmerizing testament to the rich history and cultural heritage of this remarkable land. As I approached the site, the breathtaking landscape of rugged mountains and lush greenery set the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable journey into the past.
Upon entering Myra, I was immediately struck by the grandeur of its rock-cut tombs, which stand as a testament to the ingenuity and artistry of the ancient Lycian civilization. The intricate carvings and detailed facades of these tombs, particularly the famous "Lycian Tombs," evoke a sense of reverence and wonder. It was as if I could almost hear the echoes of history whispering stories of those who once walked these very grounds.
One of the highlights of my visit was the stunning Roman Theatre, which dates back to the 2nd century AD. The well-preserved amphitheater, with its impressive seating capacity and remarkable acoustics, transports you back to a time when it was filled with the sounds of performances and gatherings. Sitting in the stands, I couldn’t help but imagine the vibrant life that once filled this space.
The serene atmosphere of Myra is further enhanced by its natural surroundings. The combination of ancient ruins and the beauty of the landscape creates a unique harmony that is both peaceful and inspiring. As I wandered through the site, I encountered beautiful flora and fauna, making the experience even more enchanting.
Visiting Myra is not just about exploring ancient ruins; it’s about connecting with history in a profound way. The site is less crowded than other tourist hotspots, allowing for a more intimate experience. It felt like I had discovered a hidden gem, a place where time stands still, and the past comes alive.
In conclusion, Myra Ancient City is a must-visit for anyone seeking to immerse themselves in the history and beauty of Turkey. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, an archaeology lover, or simply someone looking to experience the magic of ancient civilizations, Myra offers a captivating journey that will leave a lasting impression. I left with my heart full and my mind enriched, eagerly anticipating the next opportunity to return to this incredible place.

Honestly? That was "meh".. I was so excited to see this place but it was a major disappointment. The "Sunken City" is 90% above ground and from what I understand the only structure that is "sunken" is the port which is barely twice the size of the small boat I was on... The tour guide even pointed out an old sewage outlet that in the city was going into the seat, so the shoreline of the "sunken city" is pretty much the same as it was back in the day, just a few buildings that were too close to the shore seem to have crumbled into the water.. The weather conditions were not great either, it was windy and we ended up having murky waters and didn't even get to see the sunken port very well through the water anyways.
However, the boat trip was very nice with generally nice views that made for some awesome pics. The boat ended up stopping in a safe area to let us swim for 25mins.
Save your money and see pictures of the place on Google. Those were much more interesting than what I got to see from the boat. The Myra ruins in the same area are a better place to go if you want to see some Greek ruins.
If you really want to go, just make sure you go on a day that isn't windy.

We hired a boat from the town of Kaleüçağız, which was about a 30min drive from the D400 and probably about 50 mins from Kas. The boat took us over to kekova and passed by the sunken city. We didn’t stop to get off or go swimming as it was quite choppy out in the water. The sunken city itself consists of ruins that are by the shoreline of Kekova and extends probably for about 500-600m from my estimate. It was slightly underwhelming, give the remains of the city consist mostly of the occasional stone staircase or stone wall and not much else. In summer time or in calmer waters I think you can hire canoes and you can paddle closer to the ruins which is probably a far better way to experience the sunken city. The town of Kaleüçağız is a good place to hire a boat from as I’ve heard it’s generally cheaper and less busy than doing to from Kas. We paid our captain 1350 lira for one hour after some negotiation. There is a small carpark at the entrance to the town that we used for free.

¡Créenos, no has visto nada parecido!

We decided to walk from our hotel in Beldibi which was a bit challenging at start but you can also go on a tour. Once closer to the canyon, there is a road to follow which you can walk or take a car ride. There are also quad bikes (all at a cost). But then our walk came to a stop with barriers everywhere. It would have been unsafe to jump them or find another way so we paid the 5€or 5$ entry fee to get to the river. It was nice but exploited for tourists with bars and restaurants. Once at the top, you need a boat ride or book a canyoning session to go further (€20-25). It was a nice walk but not the wild experience you were looking for.

Had a wonderful visit to Göynük Canyon! We took a taxi from Antalya and it cost around 1000 lira. The ticket purchase was easy, and the natural scenery all around was simply stunning. We enjoyed a boat ride, and our host, Samba, was incredibly kind, lovely, and provided us with lots of great information. There was plenty of wildlife to spot – we even saw a dormant snake, goats, peacocks, and various fish.
There’s a lovely spot where you can sit with your feet dipped in the cool water and relax – a perfect way to unwind. We also tried the cheeseburger, which was really tasty, and had some fresh orange juice and a cappuccino – both were great!
The only downside was getting back. As it’s a remote area, there were no taxis available when leaving. There's a taxi number posted outside, but we didn't get a response when we called. After walking about a mile, we encountered one taxi driver who tried to charge 1000 lira to take us to Kemer. Thankfully, we managed to haggle the price down to 600 lira with another driver.
Overall, it’s a beautiful place to visit, but plan your return transport in advance!

Had a great afternoon quad biking with the family takes about 2 and half hours and it’s well worth the money. The guys that take you on the tour are very good and patient as well has our parents with us who were slower than others but they didn’t get left behind very good excursion highly recommended five star

Absolutely stunning. Stumbled across this place by accident looking for a bite to eat.
2 zip lines that give you tremendous views over the canyon, lots of fun but make sure your wearing decent footwear to get up to start point.
€1 for a bottle of water (frozen) which was needed as it was 35°c which is probably too hot to really enjoy the canyon. It's a 500m walk from car park to main area.
Ate Kofta and Mexican chicken which was delicious (though a little spicy) for €10 a meal and €10 a cocktail. Plenty of parking for your hire car.
Didn't have enough time to go on the boat unfortunately but keen to come back if back in this part of Turkey.

Algunos consejos:
Ponte ropa que no te importe ensuciar;
Elige calzado antideslizante;
Lleva algo de efectivo;

THEY DON’T OFFER REFUNDS – SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!
Absolutely terrible experience. For the outrageous price of ~£75 (which could get you tickets for 3-4 far better aquariums in central London), this place delivers nothing but disappointment.
They don’t have:
• Challenger
• Scorpion fish
• Ornate wrasse
• STARFISH!
• Blue crabs
• I only noticed 1 BIG SHARK!
For a so-called “aquarium,” the variety of marine life is laughable. It’s a complete rip-off. This experience was worse than visiting aquariums in many third-world countries.
To make matters worse, they don’t offer refunds, so you’re stuck throwing your hard-earned money away for something that fails to meet even the most basic expectations. My girlfriend and I left feeling utterly disappointed and with our moods ruined.
Avoid at all costs!

Amazing experience🩵🐡🪼
It could take us about 2 hours or more to see the whole exposition, to stop everywhere and enjoy everything (2 adults no kids). There is really a lot to see! Unfortunately we were here with the tour and had only less than one and half hour and it was definitely not enough, so count with more time spent here☺️

Went there with my family and bought tickets for full visits (Aquarium & Snow World & WildPark & Face2Face & XD Cinema). This was around 80Euro/person in total. The low stars (3) were because of the overprice. Even if the sum of the stuff you can visit looks a lot, the snow and the cinema plus the wild park are rather small, nothing huge/large to see. (worth mentioning that we went to Valencia, Viena, Budapest and Lisbon before-zoos and aquariums-)
The Aquarium tunnel is definitely the longest one we've seen and it is nice to visit, inside you can see various species of fish and you can spend around 1h if you thoroughly inspect all the aquariums. The nice touch is that you can feed the Koi fish and sting rays for some fee(I would say that one is decent and worth the money).
Another nice touch is that you can see some real ships or a plane inside the tanks. The glass in most places is clean but there are also scratches on some other parts(due to poor manors of the tourists). The water in some tanks was a bit foggy, maybe because they recently cleaned the aquariums(?).
The complex with the aquarium itself is nice and worth visiting but besides the ships and the long tunnel you can't find anything special that deserves the huge amount of money they ask per person.
The snow chamber is a nice touch, nothing big, just a room with some snow and some ice, some interesting constructions in ice but also a lot of constructions built from some synthetic material imitating ice/snow. You receive some clothes there so no worries, you won't freeze to death :P. It is quite refreshing to do a walk in there.
The wax statues site has quite a bunch of statues of a handful of celebrities and it is interesting to see if it is the first you are seeing, if not then you might walk through it quite quickly. Some of the statues look pretty real others not that much because the characters look a bit younger than in real life (and I am not comparing them to the old/current age of the personalities obviously). So you need around 15-30 mins here depending on how fast you want to go through the scene.
The 4d movie is around 15 mins if not less and presents the aquarium complex. I would say it would be nicer to visit it after you visited the rest so you can make an overview of the visit at the end but that is just my thought :).
The wild park section is actually a bigger room with aquariums with lizards, snakes and some spiders. It is nice to see but again it doesn't justify the huge price.
They have restrooms at the entrance before you get into the scenes and also in the Aquarium. There are also shops for gifts and places where you can buy drinks and ice cream(at least the ice cream has a fair price). Very near there are parking lots, we went there by mini bus and that parking lot looked rather full, not sure if it was the only place or it is bigger.
Bottom line, if you really want to see as much aquariums as you can in the world, then go ahead and pay the money, if not and if this is not the only one you visited and you look for fish diversity then this is too expensive for what it offers.
It is a great place to visit but for a much lower fee. We will definitely not going back anytime soon if the prices are staying the same.

Antalya Aquarium is an impressive destination for those fascinated by marine life. The main attraction of the aquarium is its expansive and meticulously designed tanks, which house a diverse array of aquatic species from around the world. The highlight is the massive ocean tunnel, allowing visitors to walk through a transparent tunnel with panoramic views of sharks, rays, and other sea creatures swimming overhead. This immersive experience provides an up-close look at marine life in a captivating and educational setting.
In addition to the main exhibits, the aquarium features various themed sections, including tropical fish displays and interactive zones for children. The vibrant colors and intricate details of the aquatic environments are thoughtfully designed to showcase the beauty and diversity of ocean life. The aquarium also offers engaging educational content that enhances visitors' understanding of marine ecosystems and conservation efforts.
However, it is worth noting that the Ocean Ride, an additional attraction at the aquarium, falls short of expectations. This 3D experience, lasting only about five minutes, does not offer significant value for the cost. The ride is brief and lacks the depth and immersion one might expect from a high-quality experience. Overall, while the aquarium itself is a fantastic destination for marine enthusiasts, the Ocean Ride may not be worth the extra expense.
I suggest taking the Uber there as the bus is very confusing especially at night time though we managed to after waiting almost 30-40mins.

A very nice aquarium with a nice atmosphere located on the outskirts of the city. The air is scented and the entire experience feels very clean. I guess it would have been nice to see that the fish had more interesting tanks for them to enjoy exploring.

Show Fuego de Anatolia

Beautiful area to visit , buy your marshmallows at the entrance to toast on the fires. The walk up is about 1km from the car park but some of the steps are quite steep and uneven , we did it in winter , I would imagine it’s much harder during the hot summer months.

A unique experience. It’s very hot to go during the day in summer. I would recommend to go in the evening but it’s more crowded there. 1km from the parking until the main flames and the temple ruins. It costs 45 lira per person.
If you are in good physical shape and wear good shoes, I would recommend the extra 25-minute walk on a steeper trail to get to the upper flame.

Absolute most. No other place like it.
Walk there after dinner. 45 Tl entrance fee.
Bring a good flashlight in the way back. Wear sturdy shoes.
Flames are great to see and warm.
Saw lots of bugs, spiders, and scorpions on the way back down.
Closes at 11pm.

An absolute must see for anyone interested in natural phenomena. The hike is 800 meters up very steep stairs. It is definitely worth the effort once you get there. In the early evening you can see the best show of these natural fires and still make it back down. Bring a flashlight or have your phone flashlight handy if it gets too dark. This is a truly magical place, with unknown origin.

Amazing natural wonder and excellent history. You need good stability for this hike. The hike is a bit long for an amateur and every step is on uneven stones and ground. Strong knees and ankles are a must. The flaming mountain portion is all a steep hillside. Bring toilet tissue. There are bathrooms at the entry but they are sparse. I think entry was 30 TL.

I recently revisited Waterhill Waterpark, and it has gone completely downhill. The rides look old, dated, and discolored, and the park is poorly maintained with dirt and leaves everywhere. The steps to the rides are stone, and you’re forced to go barefoot. I hurt my foot several times due to the potholes in the stones, which is a serious hazard.
The staff are absolutely abysmal—the worst attitude I’ve ever seen at a park. They act like they’re doing you a favor, and for 1500 TL just to get in, it’s shocking how rude and unhelpful they are. The lockers are not safe at all. You need to top up 100 TL to use a locker, and mine kept opening by itself, so major security issues there.
You can’t bring any food in, and the food inside is overpriced. Many of the rides were closed, making it a complete waste of money. There are major safety concerns with the rides—one of them caused me to hit my face, and there was no one around to help. Also, they don’t have enough inflatables, so people are literally fighting over them.
The ridiculous rules are another story. You’re not allowed to wear goggles, film your experience, or even swim under the waterfall without getting whistled at by a lifeguard. It’s beyond frustrating. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this park to anyone. A complete waste of time and money.

Just visited this park and absolutely nothing wrong with anything based on some comments here so I thought I for a change put review
Family of four family tickets at day and paid £100 ( 4465 lira) which included the whole day in part plus set lunch which is chips and Donner or pizza pieces and chips, drinks you pay. It was enough to fill us up.
We did have some snacks and water with us on entry and security made no big deal about it.
The park has no queue for any slides so you go as much as you want without any wait.theyngot baby section which was awesome for me three year old then U have another section of but older kids and they a grown up section. All full of fun.
Getting here from Mark Antalya shopping mall by taxi will cost U 180lira.
Changing rooms with lockers are very well clean and once again not busy. Locker hire cost is 100lira.
You tip on your wrist band with money to buy any other food or drinks. Any money not used is refunded only if you paid cash.
We spent whole day from 10 till 5 and it was worth it for kids.
Staff all very helpful and can communicate ok English.

The park is ok just I got the offer online to buy the tickets 40$ each from official park when I got there they told me this is not right and price was much higher and they did not agree . I think if they understand you not from turkey you get charged double and this is almost everywhere . In general I live in Sweden and same park in Sweden is half price indeed getting anything inside even locker you have to pay separately !!!!

Staff is very friendly, place is somewhat nice.
BUT! There is a management problem because safety standards are almost non existent at the beluga, dolphin and seals show.
They just people in, duble the seat capacity!!
This ruins the experience for the people that came in time and had seats, since people are let in standing in front, some almost with their feet in the water!!!
Also they offer the opportunity to take photos with the marine life at the end which is nice.
BUT!! They set no person limit, which translates in a very long waiting time, since animals are in order. So if you want to take a photo with the seals, you have to wait for people to take photos with the beluga. Problem is that if someone changes their mind and wants to take a photo with the Beluga…you just have to wait. (because people would just randomly show up and buy tickets….you would think it’s done…but another family would show up - Our EXTRA waiting time was more than 40 minutes since we were in order to take photos with the seal)
Also you have meals included which is nice.
BUT!! restaurant closes at 15:30, so if you don’t serve your meals till 13:00-13:30 and want to see the marine life show, you will not eat those included meals!
As I said in the beginning it’s a management problem since there are no systems in place to avoid this time type of experiences that can ruin a fun day.
Lucky the staff are always friendly and willing to help.
