Privacy Policy

Who We Are

Our website address: https://planyourescapes.com//.

Comments

When a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data specified in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent data, in order to detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a “hash”) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile image becomes publicly visible in the context of your comment.

Media Files

If you are a registered user and upload photos to the site, you may want to avoid uploading images with EXIF metadata because they can contain your GPS location data. Visitors can extract this information by downloading images from the site.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can enable saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when leaving another comment. These cookies are stored for one year.

If you have an account on the site and log in, we will set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser supports cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set several cookies to save your login information and screen display settings. Login cookies are stored for two days, and screen settings cookies are stored for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login information will remain for two weeks. When you log out, the login cookies are removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. It does not contain personal data and only stores the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, articles, etc.). Such embedded content acts exactly as if a visitor had visited the other site.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, implement third-party additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that site.

With Whom We Share Your Data

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment itself and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any subsequent comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our site, we store the personal information they provide in their profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Site administrators can also view and modify that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete this data. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
